Marie-Cecile Cervellon, PhD and Giovanni Pugliese, BSBA

On January 17-19th, 2013, a team of researchers from International University of Monaco (Giovanni Pugliese, BSBA and Marie-Cecile Cervellon, PhD) and Universite Laval, Canada (Frank Pons, PhD) presented in a major international conference the state of their research on « The moderating role of Sexual Sensation Seeking on consumers’ responses to sexual content in ads » in the different contexts of AIDS prevention and luxury goods promotion.

The authors presented a set of experiments conducted among active adults and young students. The research discussion provides directions in order to design effective advertisements while avoiding chocking certain populations.
