Marie-Cecile Cervellon, PhD and Giovanni Pugliese, BSBA

On January 17-19th, 2013, a team of researchers from International University of Monaco (Giovanni Pugliese, BSBA and Marie-Cecile Cervellon, PhD) and Universite Laval, Canada (Frank Pons, PhD) presented in a major international conference the state of their research on “The moderating role of Sexual Sensation Seeking on consumers’ responses to sexual content in ads” in the different contexts of AIDS prevention and luxury goods promotion.

The authors presented a set of experiments conducted among active adults and young students. The research discussion provides directions in order to design effective advertisements while avoiding chocking certain populations.
