Apprenticeship – Part-time Program

For the specialization “Corporate Banking and Financial Institutions,” the program unfolds part-time over 24 months: every week, students work two and a half days in a financial institution and take courses at IUM on the remaining days. The curriculum includes the same modules of the full-time program and a specialization dedicated to the Professional Monegasque Certification for financial professionals.

For the Hedge Funds and Alternative Investments Specialization the program tuition is:
26,350€

For the Private Banking and Wealth Management Specialization the program tuition is:
26,350€

For the Private Equity and Investment Banking Specialization the program tuition is:
30,600€

In addition, all students pay the annual Student Association Fee of 190€, and the IUM for Life Fee of 650€ that gives lifelong access to Alumni services.

Do I have to be good at mathematics in order to apply for an MSc in Finance?

Finance needs an analytical bent of mind. You should love numbers and have a feel for them, but you don’t have to be a maths expert. Sometimes a preparatory course in quantitative maths is required to ensure you’ll have all your chances to succeed.

Is it easy to find an internship?

It organizes the annual International Business Days, where companies look for suitable profiles.

What kind of jobs can I expect to find upon graduation?

It all depends on your specialization and elective courses. If Hedge Funds and Private Equity make you tick, then investment and consultancy firms are one among many options. When you bend towards Private Banking and International Wealth Management, family offices, international banks, and financial advisory agencies will be interested in you.
