EDUCATE FOR IMPACT
The year 2020-2021 has been rich in challenges and opportunities for IUM. Because of COVID, we had to implement a profound transformation of many processes and practices rapidly. Faced with this unprecedented challenge, IUM transformed itself and adapted its teaching and other activities to pursue its mission, continue to impact, and offer solutions to all its stakeholders while remaining true to its core values and specificities. This particular year has also contributed to reinforcing ties within and across the IUM community and demonstrated the strengths and advantages of being an agile, small-scale business school.
By taking advantage of the unique features of its location, IUM provides a learning environment that combines the benefits of small size with connections to the global world, international diversity, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
‘DR. Jean-Philippe MULLER’
IUM is engaged in responsible management education and sustainable initiatives:
1. To promote Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development practices.
2. To educate new generation leaders in the fields of Luxury, Hospitality, and Financial Services.
3. To contribute to improvements in managerial procedures.
4. To encourage entrepreneurship and innovation.
5. To enhance the Principality of Monaco’s image of excellence.
From October 2017, the International University of Monaco (IUM), Monaco Impact, and the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco have strengthened their collaboration by signing a partnership agreement.
This cooperation aims at raising the young generations’ awareness of environmental issues, and more specifically, about our ocean protection. Moreover, IUM is also a partner of Automobile Club de Monaco and Sportel Monaco, a unique Sports Media and Technology Convention; consequently, its students can be part of the Monaco Grand Prix and Sportel Events organization.
Along with its partner Monaco Yachting Cluster, IUM has developed a specialization track in Yachting. Its students benefit from exclusive events and networking activities offered by the leading industry players.
Monaco is the ‘capitol’ of Yachting, and the annual Monaco Yacht Show is undeniably the world’s most renowned yachting event and an essential part of this specific track.
Combined with our faculty’s research, delivering additional insights on how the industry works, our students have a unique competitive advantage.
IN 2018 IUM & THE CHAMBRE MONÉGASQUE DE LA MODE SIGNED A PARTNERSHIP TO CREATE SYNERGY AND SHARE KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCES BETWEEN FASHION COMPANIES & DESIGNERS AND THE IUM STUDENTS.
