Luxury strategies were invented in Europe and developed worldwide mainly by french and Italian companies ” (J.N.Kapferer, V. Bastien, 2012).
Monaco lies between these two countries and represents the ideal place where students can learn luxury in class and experience luxury outside class.
Since 2006 IUM has developed the MSc in Luxury Management program, considering the needs of an ever-evolving segment and working closely with large corporations and emerging brands.
The program aims to give students a strong foundation in Luxury Management, making them understand the theoretical framework, the principles of luxury dynamics, the luxury customers, and the luxury codes. In 15 years, the MSc in Luxury Management has trained a large Alumni Community well established and continually growing across scores of countries now working in all luxury sectors.

Do I need to provide an English test proficiency for my application?
We accept three different English tests:
• IELTS: 6.0
• TOEFL: 79
• Cambridge: C level (advance Cambridge)
If you already have one, please upload it during the application process. Otherwise, no worries, you will have time until the beginning of classes to provide it.
Can I apply now even if I don’t have my proof of English yet?
You don’t need to wait for your proof of English to apply. You can bring your certificate directly in September, the first day of classes.
Does IUM support the research of the internship?
Through Career Services, MSc students can count on personalized support throughout the career orientation and job search processes: tailored tools to successfully enter the job market and have the chance to meet major employers in Monaco and abroad. It organizes the annual International Business Days, where companies look for suitable profiles.
Do I need to have already experience in the luxury field to apply?
No, it is not needed any specific background. The first term (from September to December) aims to give students with different academic qualifications the tools to be equally prepared.
During this term, students can explore business and management from a luxury point of view and then go deep-dive through the three different specializations during the second term.
