Vilmos Santa: Applying Financial Analytics to Real-World Banking Challenges
Vilmos Santa, a Bachelor’s student (BBA Honours) at the International University of Monaco, is currently completing an internship at The Teofilo Intato Institute – The Forward Lookers, where he contributes to applied research projects focused on the financial performance of non-listed companies.
Working with large-scale international datasets, Vilmos is involved in research exploring how financial ratios can help the banking sector anticipate and reduce non-performing loans.
Through this experience, he is developing strong analytical and research skills while gaining direct exposure to real-world financial challenges.
Through partnerships with leading research institutions, IUM continues to provide its students with opportunities to engage with complex financial challenges and develop the analytical skills required in today’s evolving global landscape.

The Teofilo Intato Institute is a research center based in Milan, founded in 2004, specialized in economics, finance, and business. It presents itself as a “think tank” focused on the future, promoting innovative and sustainable approaches to improve tomorrow.
The Institute also maintains offices in Borgo Valbelluna (Italy) and New York (USA), and regularly offers internships in finance and accounting, typically lasting six months and recognized for academic credit.
Selected through IUM’s Career Center, Vilmos is part of a growing number of students contributing to impactful projects within leading international institutions, with several internships opening the door to long-term professional opportunities.
His experience highlights IUM’s commitment to combining academic excellence with practical application, preparing students to navigate the complexities of today’s global financial environment.
