Admissions and Fees of the Master of Science in Finance

Admission Criteria

• A 3 or 4-year university degree
• A formal proof of English proficiency at CEFR Level B2 (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). The following internationally recognised tests (assessing reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills) are accepted:
  – TOEFL
  – IELTS
  – Cambridge English exams
  – Duolingo English Test

For the Hedge Funds and Alternative Investments Specialization the program tuition is:
27,450€

For the Private Banking and Wealth Management Specialization the program tuition is:
27,450€

For the Private Equity and Investment Banking Specialization the program tuition is:
31,875€

For the Real Estate Management and Financing Specialization the program tuition is:
27,450€

In addition, all students pay the annual Student Association Fee of 190€, and the IUM for Life Fee of 675€ that gives lifelong access to Alumni services.

Do I have to be good at mathematics in order to apply for an MSc in Finance?

Finance needs an analytical bent of mind. You should love numbers and have a feel for them, but you don’t have to be a maths expert. Sometimes a preparatory course in quantitative maths is required to ensure you’ll have all your chances to succeed.

Is it easy to find an internship?

Through Career Services, MSc students can count on personalized support throughout the career orientation and job search processes: tailored tools to successfully enter the job market and have the chance to meet major employers in Monaco and abroad. It organizes the annual International Business Days, where companies look for suitable profiles.

What kind of jobs can I expect to find upon graduation?

It all depends on your specialization and elective courses. If Hedge Funds and Private Equity make you tick, then investment and consultancy firms are one among many options. When you bend towards Private Banking and International Wealth Management, family offices, international banks, and financial advisory agencies will be interested in you.
