On Saturday June 22nd, IUM celebrated its newly graduated students, the class of 2019, with emotion and pride!
In the prestigious Salle des Princes of the Grimaldi Forum, 1500 relatives came from all over the world to celebrate with the students the end of the academic year and the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. Representing 46 countries, those 260 new graduates have joined the community of IUM alumni (3247 graduates as of today).
Families, friends, professors and classmates were all present to applaud their graduates during this ceremony!
This year, we had the chance to welcome Mr. Bertrand Badré, as our Keynote Speaker for the day.
Mr. Badré is currently CEO at Blue like an Orange Sustainable Capital and Co-Chair Global Future Council Sustainable Development at the World Economic Forum.
Previously, as Managing Director and World Bank Group Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Badré was responsible for the collective financial and risk management strategies of the World Bank Group and for each of the institutions that make up the Group.
Mr Badré has also served in the French Ministry of Finance (1995 to 1999), and has been a Director on a number of boards, including the Supervisory Board of Eurazeo, Haulotte Group, various boards of the leading French regional daily Newspaper Group Ouest France, and subsidiaries of Crédit Agricole and Sociéte Générale.
