ECTS & DURATION
3 YEARS, PART-TIME → The program lasts 3 years and is part-time (you can continue working while studying).
DBA PROGRAM 90 US CREDITS → The DBA program corresponds to 90 university credits according to the US system (US Credits). In Europe, 1 ECTS normally equals 1.5 US Credits, so this is roughly equivalent to 60 ECTS.
FORMAT
The program uses a blended format combining:
- 6 RESIDENTIAL WEEKS → 6 weeks on-site in Monaco for intensive seminars.
- SYNCHRONOUS ONLINE SESSIONS → Live online sessions where students and faculty interact in real time.
- INTENSE SUPERVISION BY TWO ADVISORS → All students are supervised by two advisors for individual support and research guidance.
VENUE
MONACO → All on-site activities take place in Monaco.
ADMISSION CRITERIA
Master degree and a minimum of 5 years professional experience → Admission requires a Master’s degree and at least 5 years of professional experience.
Proof of English proficiency → Applicants must demonstrate a good level of English (e.g., IELTS or TOEFL certificates).

How the DBA is Delivered at IUM
The program is delivered online and is three years long. It also includes six residential weeks (2 per year) in Monaco. The DBA is made for professionals who do not want to/cannot put their professional lives on hold and wish to work while studying.
What are the requirements to be eligible for a DBA application?
To be eligible, applicants must have a Master’s degree and at least five years of managerial work experience. A clear research topic and a fluent level of English are also required.
