This October, at IUM students in the Master in Sports Business Management program stepped into the heart of one of the world’s most influential sports business events, SPORTEL Monaco. For three immersive days, IUM students became part of an international gathering that connects leaders in sports media, technology, and management. The experience offered unparalleled exposure to real-world networking, innovation, and the business forces shaping the future of global sports.

For IUM’sfuture sports business leaders, SPORTEL wasn’t just another industry event, it was a life-changing opportunity to connect, learn, and grow.

“I am very grateful for the opportunity to contribute as part of the conference assistant team, welcoming attendees and panel speakers, ensuring the fluidity of the event and helping with organization. It was inspiring to be surrounded by sports media industry professionals, and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to various insightful panel discussions.” Hannah Hill, Conference Assistant

“It was inspiring to connect with professionals from across the sports and media industries and gain valuable perspectives.” Jhanavi Suresh, Accreditation Team

“I met inspiring professionals and visited some interesting stands, especially those of the ATP Tour and International Tennis Federation, two major tennis organizations where I could truly see myself working in the future!

Highlight of the day – while watching ATP contents in the stand, I was surprised to spot myself taking part in a challenge during the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters!

All of this was made possible thanks to International University of Monaco. Emma Neige

“With these experiences, I gained a deep understanding of the behind-the-scenes operations of a large-scale event like Sportel.” Emme Wilson, Event Assistant
