Another proof that IUM is well-prepared to adapt to new circumstances!
Usually, at this time of the year, the MSc in Luxury Management students come back from their study trips in Italy, and in Paris, with sparkles in the eyes after seeing the precise and incredible work of luxury handcraft makers. These field trips also offer them the opportunity to visit renowned luxury companies and meet with their HR Managers or recruiters.
Unfortunately, the COVID-19 has changed a little the calendar, and the activities planned in the second half of the year were obviously canceled.
But IUM has not yet said its last word, and least of all, Dr. Annalisa Tarquini, the Program Director of the MSc in Luxury Management!
This year, the Master in Luxury Management students will do virtual study trips!
The aim of this initiative is to enable students to have a “virtual” experience replacing the ones they were supposed to have during the “Field Trips” to Italy and Paris.
The idea is to create a bridge with the business world, with professionals and luxury companies through recorded interviews and synchronized meetings.
As an example, the next Virtual Study Trip will be brainstorming about:
Communication and Creativity for luxury goods Before, during, and post-COVID lockdown.
A talk with Mr. Paolo Bonaveri, Global Marketing and Communication Director at Silver Arrows Marine and Board Member Cluster Yachting Monaco & Mrs. Federica Bruno, Owner at 3DComm – Marketing, communication, and events agency and McLaren Communications Consultant
No need to say that IUM has proven its capabilities to quickly adapt to unexpected obstacles, to lead change, and to stay in touch with its students.
Agility and flexibility are not empty words…there are words of today!
