MSc in Sport Business Management students are engaging with the sport business industry as much as possible, to make sure, they experience what the industry and real market is all about.
Last year, the International University of Monaco (IUM) signed up a partnership with the Automobile Club de Monaco (ACM).
This partnership is an opportunity for our MSc in Sport Business Management students. As part of their curriculum (Event and Venue Management class), the students had the chance to collaborate with ACM on the organization of the Historical Grand Prix and the F1 GP.
“This was amazing, exciting, challenging experience for all the students who could see the “backstage” of these international sport events” said Florent. “I met a lot of people inside and outside the organisation, so this job was really productive also for the “networking part” said also Odoardo.
During these 6 days, they were involved in different activities around the two major international sport events of Monaco. The students were in charge of reception, guest coordination for the ACM, media and sponsors -Credit Suisse and TAG- Heuer.
Experiencing the beauty and the challenges of organizing an event and the team work around it, in the heart of these prestigious sport events, is the perfect way to learn and also to build professional network!
