In your opinion, what is the most important added value of having a professional teaching students?
Professionals can bring a more usable applied knowledge and above all their know-how.
What are you teaching and why is it very important for IUM students?
I am teaching a specific course on Foreign Exchange Risk Management. In addition to identifying specific financial risks, I expose them to the financial “jargon” used by professionals, to teach them how to use the main financial tools for building hedging strategies and their constraints.
Why would you hire an IUM student?
They will be quickly operational in their future job, able to speak financial English fluently and know already how professionals are working.
What is the most important advice you can give to our students?
I have no personal recipe. Work hard, but most of all, like what you are doing. If you enjoy what you are doing you will succeed.
