and safer than ever!

For this academic year 2020-2021, we have set up a new teaching method that allows continuing to regularly welcome students to our premises, ensuring the safety of everyone. Safety measures are rigorously applied at IUM, notably by limiting the number of students present at the same time in the premises and classrooms and also by wearing masks at all times and in all areas.

Due to arrangements made and the equipment installed, a new educational paradigm with its “Onsite/Online” model has become the norm. An innovative learning ecosystem is hard to find elsewhere globally, as many countries had to switch their teaching methods to virtual learning.

This continuity is also possible because the health situation in Monaco remains less worrying than in other countries. The Principality of Monaco has decided to authorize the continuation of teaching activities while strictly respecting the barrier measures and social distancing.

We’re all keen to get back to normal as soon as possible, and Monaco puts a marker down for 2021 with three race runs. Monaco has planned to hold three motor races in five weeks, from April to May 2021. Currently, non-essential businesses and attractions in Monaco are open under social distancing restrictions, and a nightly curfew is in place between 21:00 and 6:00.
We know that the opportunity to establish personal relationships is essential to all of you.
For the 2021-2022 academic year, we will continue in this spirit, making sure to allow you to split your learning time between 80% “Onsite” and 20% “Online.” We want to confirm that the activity of the International University of Monaco will continue under the conditions already in place: welcoming teachers, students, and staff; by combining face-to-face and online courses to ensure the best learning experience for our students.

Since its inception, everyone’s health and safety remain our top priority. Thanks to our flexible learning system, IUM was able to adapt fast to changes. We will continue to monitor the evolution of the current situation and counting on the responsible behavior of everyone, which will make it possible to start the next academic year by taking care of everyone’s health.
