What are the special ingredients for the Monaco Yacht Show 2015?
First of all, you take Mrs Annalisa Tarquini, Director of the MSc in Luxury Management program and her motivated luxury master students as well as Mr. Eric Althaus, President at ALTHAUS Yachting, and his amazing hard working team. Secondly, Mrs Daniela Riccardi, CEO of Baccarat, along with Baccart crystals and Mrs Daniela Boutsen, CEO of Boutsen Design, and her breathtaking design. You will obtain four days of unforgettable adventure and luxurious experience.
On the first morning we discovered the private dining room created by Boutsen Design with exquisite Baccarat, Christofle and Porcelaine De Limoges. The Wajer & Wajer tenders helped us to be there on time for Prince Albert II arrival with the impressive Yersin, vessel built by French yard Piriou.
This is where everything began: welcoming the visitors on the Yersin vessel, preparing the cocktail for Baccarat and Monaco Private Label gala, presenting the Baccarat private dining room, running all over Monaco Yacht Show in order to deal with last-minutes changes.
Thanks to Mr. Fiat and his family, education, science and adventure are reunited together under one name “Yersin” which had gained the prize of the Baccarat SuperYacht of the Year. The 76.60 meters vessel was our home base for the entire show and we had proudly shared his story with the visitors.
We had the chance to represent the company that had chosen us. On the Yersin, we had to fix the visitors appointments, which means being flexible, understandable and using the right words to communicate (if a meeting was not possible). On the other side, in the Baccarat private dining room, we were in touch with interesting and successful people; asking them questions about their career and position gave us the chance to understand better the luxury yachts industry. The diversity of nationalities was important as well, we all managed to find someone from our country. Being able to follow everyday the companies, gave us the opportunity to see the way this industry is working and how they react to sudden changes in their schedules or appointments.
After 4 days, 4 stands, 12 events, 400 visitors and a lot of Baccarat glasses we can proudly say that it was an unforgettable experience for all of us. There are not enough words to express our thanks.
