Startup Sim, the business simulation played by IUM’s MBAs, migrates online.

MBAs in virtual teams - Alessio-CastelloAt IUM, we have decided to create engagement by letting our MBA students play in a virtual business environment, and, to mimic real-life business conditions, experience it in an entirely distant mode: students, like many contemporary companies, operate in virtual teams.

Reconciling business decisions and numbers, MBAs apply their skill in strategy, finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and accounting.

Our IT infrastructure allows students to interact, negotiate, and make decisions in teams while remaining in their home countries.

To enrich further the experience, we have added to the standard in-class version of Startup Sim a set of tools and activities such as an online CMS and video tutorials, as well as a treasure hunt.

We are confident that our MBAs will enjoy a pleasant experience during the Startup Sim week.
