On Monday 4th of March, the International University of Monaco welcomed Daniel Regehr and Olga Scharf, from Lufthansa Aviation Training GmbH, for the kick off of the 2019 MBA Corporate Project .
Project-based learning is a key element of IUM pedagogy, especially in the Monaco MBA program, that consistently challenges students in real hands-on strategic situations.
Like every year, The Monaco MBA students have to work in groups on a real strategic business consulting case, and will submit their practical recommendations to the company’s top executives at the program end.
The Lufthansa Aviation Training project invites the MBA students to analyze the existing business model of the Aviation Training industry , through a Design Thinking/ Customer-centric approach and integrate digital and new technologies.
This exciting project, at the convergence of the key components of the MBA Program – Digitalization, Customer Experience, Entrepreneurship, innovation management, and project management – will be supervised by Dr. Marika Taishoff, MBA Program Director, and Dr. Maximilian Rapp, IUM Professor in Design Thinking and Innovation, also Manager of Co-Innovation Programs, Design Thinking, Co-Creation and Digital Business Transformation at EY .
