This is a challenging time for MBA candidates the world over.
Not only are potential MBA students confronted with having to decide which of the hundreds of ranked and accredited programs are right for them; many are also wondering whether the MBA itself is still worth it as a means to enhance their careers, or build their businesses.
Dr. Taishoff and Mrs. Frisenberg, together with several IUM MBA alumni, will elaborate on what you should really be looking at, and considering, as you weight the options and make the kind of decision that could transform your life.

Dr. Marika Taishoff is the Director of the MBA Program at the International University of Monaco, where she teaches Luxury Services, Marketing, and Strategy.
She is also the Luxury Practice Leader for IUM’s Executive Education Programs. Prior to joining IUM in 2009, Marika had worked at such business schools as IMD (International Institute for Management Development) in Lausanne, Switzerland; SDA Bocconi, in Milan; and the Imperial College Business School in London.
Her fields of expertise cover service and experience management, especially in the luxury and premium sectors; customer focused organizations; and strategic marketing and business development.
These are also areas in which has consulted extensively, and authored numerous business case studies, many of them award winning.  Originally from Manhattan, she completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at Barnard College and Columbia University in New York.
