As part of the Alumni career follow up program, IUM ensures it stays up to date with the careers of its alumni students.
To this end, IUM recently met with Bhavin Patel, Indian, MSc in Luxury Management 2014, (Hospitality and Event Management Specialization) who is now working with Renaissance Atlanta Midtown Hotel as Guest Ambassador and Navigator- Lead in Atlanta, USA
I had the opportunity and experience of a lifetime to attend IUM. I got to learn different aspects of the luxury industry, relating to the business processes, history, economic impact to regions and society, in-depth understanding of supply and demand, and the future ahead. With these basics fundamentals, the program took me into a deeper focus of the global luxury hospitality industry, focusing on the understanding of CRM, business operations and the true meaning of cost vs. revenues. With the attained knowledge of the luxury industry in all segments, I now have the opportunity to apply the attained skills and knowledge to my passion of hospitality.
