IUM offers plenty of opportunities to have fun playing sport. The university provides an extensive choice of activities such as Soccer, VolleyBall, Tennis, Golf, Dance and Sailing to name only a few. It’s a great way to keep fit, try something new and meet new people.
This year, thanks to the hard work of the Students Association, lots of new sports have been implemented. These new sports take into consideration Muhaï Taï, Yoga, Zumba, and Crossfit.
The teams -each having around 20 members- train once a week in various locations. The SA has succeeded in finding the best training facilities to have a weekly training, and in scheduling the sport activities accordingly. Such activities allow students to gather around a common hobby, that they already practiced back home or would like to discover. Coaches are also present in order to give tips.
Each team has a captain, someone who manages the team, which enables the student in charge to gain an extra credit towards the completion of their program.
Participating in one or more IUM sport team is a very good way to meet other students and enjoy IUM student’s life during the whole year.
