IUM Master in Sustainable Peace Through Sports students are managing (from logistics to communication to the booth at the race village from Nov. 1-3) a great initiative along with Peace and Sport in relation to the Nice-Cannes Marathon scheduled on November 4.

A former child soldier, named David, will come and run the Marathon des Alpes Maritimes, from Nice to Cannes. He has won a special race last year in Kenya which gave hime the right to travel to France. David will also share his experience about how sport can change life.

This was organized by the Tegla Loroupe Peace Foundation and Peace and Sport. Tegla is a former great marathon runner from Kenya.

On Monday 24th, they had their first work meeting with Sylvain Heraud, Project Manager at Peace and Sport.
