Dr. Marie-José Rinaldi-Larribe, IUM Director of the Master in International Business and Global Affairs and of the Master in International Business and Trade, has participated in the third conference on “The European Union in International Affairs” i
n Brussels, Belgium, on May 3-5, 2012.
The paper that she has presented was entitled “Dealing with the sovereign debt crisis in the euro area: can the euro be saved?”.
The three-day conference was organized by the Institute for European Studies of the Free University of Brussels, in partnership with the United Nations University Institute on Comparative Regional Integration Studies, and Egmond – the Royal Institute for International Relations. It has enabled around 250 participants, representing 130 different academic and policy-related institutes from all over the world to present their latest research on key issues in European and global affairs. The opening keynote speech was made by Herman Van Rompuy, the President of the European Council.
