Internships are such valuable experiences that students gain during their time at IUM!
Not only do internships allow students to apply their knowledge on daily tasks and project management, but it also give them a firsthand look into the industry challenges and issues.
“I had the opportunity to take a Master Degree in Luxury Management specialized in Fashion and Accessories at IUM. This program, combined with my previous educational background (Istituto Europeo Di Design, Rome), allowed me to work as an intern at the Louis Vuitton’s headquarters in Paris.
My responsibilities as Assistant Product Visual Merchandiser for the men’s collection include but are not limited to, the organization and preparation of photoshoots and showrooms, communication with the marketing and merchandising departments, and creation of visual merchandising guidelines to be divulged to every single Louis Vuitton boutique around the world.
I am very grateful to be part of an international environment where the three main languages of fashion (French, Italian, and English) are spoken daily and where I have the chance to constantly cultivate creative analysis, project management, and adobe graphic design skills.”
