Alexis Bouresche, current Master in Sport Business Management student at IUM, is an interesting young entrepreneur. While pursuing his studies at IUM, he is also a junior manager for M&A Autosport, a company dedicated to the management of the career of professional race drivers.
Before enrolling in IUM’s Master in Sport Business Management, he was an intern at M&A Autosport. His final assignment was to analyse driver profiles in order to sign up the best one. Following his internship, Alexis was hired as a junior manager. At M&A Autosport, his main responsibility was to supervise various aspects of the career of drivers including contract signature and sponsors & team management.
Alexis decided to enrolled in IUM’s Master in Sport Business Management in order to gain a better understanding of the Sports Industry and acquire practical skills in domains such as Sport Agency and Athletes Wealth Management. As an anecdote, Alexis was also able to find an immediate practical application of concepts learnt in an optional course at work: “I had this idea of a mobile application because of the “Mobile Marketing Strategy” class I have attended at IUM”.
He has also chosen IUM because of its location. Indeed, Monaco is a very dynamic place in term of Sport events (Formula 1, Herculis, Tennis Masters, etc.) and he thought it would help him connect with such a community.
The month of June brings new opportunities to Alexis. He is on the verge of completing all classes (from July students start working on their Capstone, i.e. internship, master thesis or applied project). In addition, Alexis has recently launched his own company, “Box Management”, which is committed to two talented drivers, including the promising Norman Nato.
