Experiential education is at the core of the International University of Monaco’s strategy.

Experiential education: UBS-CMBTo this end, IUM organizes its annual International Business Days, three days during which students and alumni get a better and precise understanding of skills in demand and recruitment processes in the most competitive industries and companies.

This year, students from the MSc in Finance program had the opportunity to meet with business professionals of the finance industry but also to attend recruitment sessions. Thanks to our partners, UBS, CBM, Privatam, 2PM, GFG Asset Management, PWC, KPMG, Moore Stephens, Caisse d’Epargne, UBP, Keesystem & Fingopay, our students are engaging with the financial industry to the fullest extent, experiencing the reality of this dynamic sector and its related markets.

Students have particularly appreciated the panel discussion with Mrs. Falco, CEO of the UBS and Mr. Peyer, CEO of the CMB about the role of the Private Bankers nowadays.

As Gregory Moscato, MSc in Finance Program Director said: “It is rare to have in the same room two CEOs of major Banks debating on the challenges ahead for the Private Banking industry. It is even rarer to witness the openness with which such CEOs have addressed students’ questions, allowing true insights to emerge from the discussions”.

Thanks to our applied and “real world” approach to management education, and our symbiotic relationship with the Principality, our students learn not only the kinds of skills any university programs should be able to offer, but also build on and benefit from the insights, best practices and networks unique to studying in Monaco.

“There is no doubt that Monaco is a “one-of-a-kind” place in the world. So doing your degree at the International University of Monaco will provide you with a unique, unrivalled and “one-of-a-kind” experience in so many different ways.”
