Master internship placement data for Fall 2014

Classes are finally over for our master students who are entering in the last phase of their master curriculum. Placement data indicates that 94% of Master students decided to complete an internship for their capstone project (final master project where students can choose between thesis, applied project or internship). Half of the students who decided to follow the path of internship search have already started their internship, and IUM is proud to say that its students found internships which reflect the core hearth of their studies’ specializations. This year our students are interning in many international renowned companies located particularly in Monaco, France, Asia and the US depending on their specialization.


Msc in Finance placement: Monaco top recruitment Place for finance interns.

As last year, Banks and Family offices trust our MSc in Finance students again, offering 6 month internships either in the customer relationship department or within their Investment management & research divisions.  BNP Paribas Private Banking, Crédit Monégasque de Banque, Société Générale Private Banking, Barclays Wealth are, this year again, the main students’ employers. Asset Management companies, financial advisors and Hedge funds proposed full time jobs to some of them.

Msc in  Luxury Management placement: In Leading brands, as always, but more diversified positions.

In the retail or in the headquarter offices, most MSc in Luxury Management students have started their careers in their “dream brand”. The thorough industry and company analysis that they have to complete throughout the year, additionally with concrete corporate projects have naturally led them towards their natural aspirations.

Louis Vuitton Monaco & Paris, Faconnable, Zegna, Prada, Bottega Veneta, Chalhoub Group, Parfums Christian Dior, Courreges Parfums, Beauté Prestige International, Cartier Parfums, Ciribelli, Cartier International… have this year again integrated most of our Msc in Luxury Management students.

The ones passionate about luxury hospitality, gastronomy and wines, have started with Hotel Metropole Monaco, Villa d’Este, Kempinski Hotel Vienna, Hotel Plaza Athenee Paris, Hotel St Regis Abu Dhabi, Vranken & Pommery, these magical references in the industry.

Msc in Sport Business and Peace and Sport placement: International opportunities in Sport Sponsors as in Sport clubs and Federations.

Students in Sports Business Management left the area of Monaco to other destinations such as Germany, England or Australia for their internships: Renault Sport, Adidas, Australia Volleyball Team, to name a few.

Msc in International Management and Marketing placement: Marketing and international business development roles in the 5 continents

Msc in International Management Students are for now mainly staying in Monaco, hired in commercial positions, in various sectors such as yachting, luxury retail and banking, professional services …

Whereas our Msc in Marketing students are spread between Europe, the US and Asia in multinational companies such as Ricard group, Gensler, Med Yacht Services, CosQuare BV, Société Générale Paris, working either in the international marketing or digital marketing divisions (the two specializations options of the MSc in Marketing).
