Our Professor Mariateresa Torchia has been Chair of the Strategic Interest Group (SIG) on Corporate Governance for this year conference in Reykjavik.
The European Academy of Management (EURAM) is a learned society founded in 2001, aiming at advancing the academic discipline of management in Europe. With members from 49 countries in Europe and beyond, EURAM has a high degree of diversity and provides its members with opportunities to enrich debates over a variety of research management themes and traditions.
Every year Euram offers a conference where scholars from all around the world meet to discuss about management topics. The 2018 conference took place from the 19th to the 22nd of June in Reykjavik, Iceland and attracted more than 1.700 international scholars.
Our Professor Mariateresa Torchia has been Chair of the Strategic Interest Group (SIG) on Corporate Governance for this year conference in Reykjavik. The Corporate Governance SIG this year attracted more than 100 paper submissions on the theme of Corporate Governance and the role of the SIG Chair is fundamental in the programme building of the conference and for the contribution to other EURAM strategic activities.
