IUM won the prestigious “2014 MOC Network Team Project Award” for the first time!
“Every year – from January to April – I teach the “Microeconomics of Competitiveness” (MOC) course (developed by Professor Michael Porter and his team at Harvard Business School) in the IUM MBA Program. As a final exam the students have to produce an extensive cluster analysis in a group of 4-5 students. I was invited to submit the best student paper of my 2014-MOC class for the “2014 MOC Network Team Project Award”. All submitted papers were reviewed by a panel of MOC Faculty from around the world selected by Professor Porter. The winning paper was announced on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at the MOC Faculty Workshop at HBS in Boston.
It is with pride and pleasure to announce that the IUM MBA 2014 team – consisting of Angie Clavijo, Nazanine Matin, Elvira Nafshi, Yulia Nefedieva, and Olga Zubrilova – has won the “2014 MOC Network Team Project Award”. The title of the winning paper is: “The Swiss Watchmaking Cluster”. It is the first time that IUM has won the prestigious award. This is an outstanding international achievement.”
