In September 2014 the university will celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the IUM Master in Finance programs.

This has been an exciting journey and this is an important milestone for all of us. Over the past ten years the program went through constant evolutions, adapting its content to the industry requirements and adjusting its format & length to better match students ‘aspirations.

We initially started with a Master focused on financial engineering; we are now offering a full fledged 16-month Master of Science in Finance program with several specializations (Hedge funds & Private Equity, Wealth management & Private Banking). Furthermore the newest program introduced greater flexibility so students can freely pick all their elective courses from a wide range of options.

In this spirit we have launched a new elective track: the London track. It allows students to have a blended experience in London with dedicated elective courses, company visits, meetings with recruiters, a couple of networking events and … the City of London as a playground.

Furthermore, we continue to work closely with the local financial community and this year, Monaco launched its first professional certification for the financial industry:  the AMAF[1] certification. The AMAF has chosen our University to develop and deliver the trainings as well as the official exams linked to this certification. This is a great recognition and opportunity as it allows us to be in close contact with all financial institutions based in Monaco.
