The English Immersion Program is for college and university students willing to broaden their international perspective by combining challenging academics with a rich array of extra-curricular programming.
They improved their English and learned how to express themselves spontaneously through fun and practical English lessons.
As Prof. Savage said: “For the second year running, it has been a fantastic journey. The students have worked incredibly hard, learned a lot, and had fun!”.
Learning English can be challenging, but it can also be fun. And for Prof. Savage, it’s important to combine education with leisure.
For instance, they could learn interesting facts and expand their vocabulary by watching Tedtalk, participating in group debates, or discovering an artist.
They have also practiced their English during visits to Monaco. They went to the Oceanographic Museum, the Prince’s Cars Collection, the Monaco Stadium, an Art Gallery, etc.
“Everyone gets to learn from each other. I’ve met people from Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, and also from Greece. We all talk, discuss and can exchange ideas and I think this is really important. It’s been quite magical actually – we’ve only been here two weeks but have gotten to know each other really well,” said Victoria.
