Trying to find your way in a Library could seem like finding your way through a maze or like being in the sanctuary of a cathedral. The awesome splendour and the gigantic sizes of some of the classical libraries may awestruck some readers while others glory in the grandeur. At
IUM Library we radiate in the motto of small is beautiful, the same which has led students to gravitate to IUM due to the attraction of having small classes which espouse on individual attention.
Study Spaces
In keeping with today's philosophy, where both competition and group work is seen as important in everyday working life, the layout of the Library supports this viewpoint by availing study rooms that can be dedicated to group discussions and other reading places for ONLY Quiet Study.
Library Catalogue
The Library serves as an important research facility. We support your learning and research through the Library's online public access catalogue, availing print journals, reference services and online databases.
Library Resources
The Library resources are very strong in business and auxiliary subjects to support research, the curriculum and the academic specialisations of our clientele - Students, Faculty and the Alumni. Whereas we are small in size, we provide all resources and services you would find in any great Library, through network relationships with larger libraries and online databases.
Inline databases include:
EBSCO Business Premier -- provides full text coverage of scholarly business, management and economics journals. Remote access is available to IUM clients.
MarketLine - is a unique collection of companies, industries, products and countries information. It has remote access connectivity for all IUM Clients.
EBRARY -- a full-text electronic library platform which integrates with other digital resources, e.g. dictionaries and encyclopedias
Proquest's Factiva indexes news articles and company information
Encyclopaedia Britannica Online -- A trusted sources of information on every topic imaginable
