Student Personal Liability Insurance

All IUM students must have personal liability coverage. For those students who have their health insurance with GLOBAL PARTNER personal liability coverage is already included in the package.

For more information on Health and Personal Liability Insurance, please contact Ms Marie Cianfarani at mcianfarani@monaco.edu.

House Insurance

For your protection, French law requires tenants to have rental insurance. The housing insurance covers damage or loss of personal property (including computers and valuable items) in case of theft, fire or water damage. The housing insurance covers theft and damage to the landlord's property or belongings and repairs for broken glass to windows or sliding doors.

The policy covers civil liability and responsibility. You will be asked to give an estimated value to your personal property and the housing insurance price will be adjusted accordingly. Obviously, if you make a claim for theft you must obtain a police report and have evidence that your apartment has been broken into.

The Housing Office will assist you in taking out housing insurance, and making an insurance claim if necessary.

Scooter/Car Insurance

IUM has negociated low cost coverage through a local agent AGF BAUX.
