The MFIN is an advanced, quantitatively oriented program offered within a business university, whose main strength is the combination of a rigorous
scientific approach with practical business sense. Reflecting this reality, full-time MFIN faculty members have earned doctorates in finance,
mathematics, quantitative economics, and information technology, and are engaged in applied financial research and consulting:
Many IUM professors also have practical experience in the creation of financial instruments and software, and the implementation of innovative
financial strategies.
The full-time faculty is supported by guest lecturers, and financial and business executives who provide students with direct exposure to the real
world of finance.
