The International University of Monaco (IUM) graduate programs provide an intensive, highly multicultural advanced education designed to assist students as they prepare for successful careers in international markets.

IUM offers the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Science (MSc) degrees at the graduate level.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA)

The MonacoMBA, ranked in the Top 35 programs worldwide in 2007 by The Economist, is a 72-credit, 10-month, full-time program completed in three 12-week terms. The MonacoMBA provides students with a fundamental understanding of business from the general management perspective. The MonacoMBA encourages students to go beyond theories and data and assists them in developing strong analytical and cognitive skills in the area concentrations of Finance, International Marketing, and Luxury Goods and Services.

The Executive MBA (EMBA) is an 15-month, 54-credit program completed in six (6) modules. Designed for working professionals, the flexible format permits students to combine study with a demanding work schedule.

The Master of Science

The Master's in Finance (MFIN) is a 10-month, 54-credit program completed in three 12-week terms.

The degree program will prepare students for a wide range of careers in the financial industry, including asset management, securities trading, investment banking, and hedge fund management. It will provide a strong foundation in stocks and bonds, currencies, and mutual and index funds combined with specialized knowledge of high-yield bonds and distressed securities, derivatives, securitizations and structured products, hedge funds, private equity and venture capital, commodities, and real estate-prerequisites for success in the finance sector.

Students begin with a common core (CC) and then are streamed into the pathway focus (PF) where they enroll in a suite of seven courses according to their chosen area of specialization. The MFIN offers pathways in financial engineering (MFIN-FE), hedge funds and private equity (MFIN-HF), and international wealth management (MFIN-WM).

The Master of Science in Luxury Goods and Services (MScLGS) is a 10-month, 60-credit program completed in three 12-week terms. The program is designed for recent graduates and professionals who wish to acquire knowledge and skills specific to the luxury industry. The MScLGS seeks to produce innovative and imaginative managers who can fill senior positions in strategic planning, identity and brand management, product policy, new product development, and product portfolio management in the luxury goods market.

IUM Joint-Degree Programs

The GlobalMBA is a joint-degree program in collaboration with Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) in Teaneck, New Jersey, USA. The program is designed for students wishing to study in both Europe and the USA. For more information see the FDU website at www.fdu.edu
