Cost Summary 2007-2008

TUITION AND FEES

Tuition rates per term for the BSBA program are currently calculated on a per credit rate of €320. There are three exceptions:

FSHM 0001 Note-Taking and Study Skills (0 credit)  €320
TRNG 3000 International Business Internship (4 credit)  €1,200
TRNG 4000 Professional Thesis (6 credit)  €2,200

The total number of credits per course and the total number of courses taken each term will determine the total cost per year.

The BSBA Program offers the option of completing the 4-year degree in 3-years. The estimated cost for the intensive format is as follows:

Costs per term-3-year option

The following terms include four 3-credit courses; one 2-credit course; and a 1-credit workshop for a total of 15 credits per term:

Terms 1, 2, 3  €4,800 each term
Terms 4, 5, 7, 8  €5,120 each term
Term 6  €1,200
Term 9  €2,840

Costs per year- 3-year option

BSBA total tuition for terms 4, 5, 6  €11,440
BSBA total tuition for terms 7, 8, 9  €13,080


Students may also opt to take the program over 4 years. The estimated cost for the regular format is as follows:

BSBA total tuition for terms 1, 2, 3  €10,240
BSBA total tuition for terms 4, 5, 6  €10,240
BSBA total tuition for terms 7, 8, 9  €8,640
BSBA total tuition for terms 10, 11, 12  €9,280

Tuition includes all resident courses and can be paid in three (3) instalments during the academic year.

Students also pay the following compulsory fees:

Non-Refundable Application Fee  €125 payable when the application form is submitted
Enrolment Fee  €1,500 payable on the student's acceptance of the offer of admission
IT Fee  €150 payable at registration (The IT fee provides access to the IUM computer system)

Note: Books, supplies, and living expenses are not included in the tuition and fees amount. Students who are required to take additional classes and/or tutoring assistance in quantitative techniques, or written or spoken English will be assessed tuition in addition to the above amounts.

OTHER EXPENSES

IUM's estimates of other annual expenses that may be incurred by students during the year are as follows:

Housing  €9,000
Food and local transportation  €5,000
Health insurance  €500
Books and supplies  €1,500
Miscellaneous university expenses  €1,000

Total BSBA program 2007-2008 estimated other expenses: €17,000.

Note: Although IUM will assist students in finding suitable housing, securing accommodation is the student's responsibility. The above figures are estimates only and represent an average; Actual amounts can vary widely, especially with regard to housing.

IUM ENCOURAGES APPLICANTS TO CAREFULLY ANALYZE THEIR ABILITY TO FINANCE THEIR STUDIES. THE UNIVERSITY WILL REQUEST ALL APPLICANTS TO CONFIRM THEIR ABILITY TO MEET SUCH COSTS.
